Season of Gratitude

Since it's almost Christmas, I just thought that I'd make a post about everything in my life that I'm grateful for. This is going to be my most sappy post, I promise.

 Merry Christmas to everyone! I love my family and friends so much and thank you for being so amazing to me! I'm also grateful that the Earth didn't get destroyed in 2012...WHAT A RELIEF.

I've really been focusing on getting into BYU, and I know that amazing grades are required! Every night I've been spending at least two or three hours on homework, and it looks like my hard work is paying off!

Update On My Life!

Hey everyone! The last couple weeks of my life have been crazy and AMAZING!
Well first off, I started high school! It's funny, because I just went back and looked at my first ever blog post, and I was just ending fourth grade.
I never pictured myself this old or mature, and I certainly never pictured myself attending Temecula Valley High School, and being a golden bear! It's weird that these are my last four years at home...
Anywayssssss....enough of the deep reflections, let me fill you in on my crazy, fun life!
Well, I started school on August 15th.
I chose to take English, Pre AP Biology,  health, Spanish, geometry, and P.E. I love every single one of my classes...(well, except for math..my teacher sucks), and I look forward to school everyday!
I have made so many new friends, and I am in LOVE with high school.
Another exciting thing is I started SEMINARY. Who knew waking up at 5:00 in the morning everyday would be so easy? Not me!
About two weeks ago, I went to my first ever Stake Dance! I brought (of course), my two best friends in the whole wide world, Julia and Cindy! The three of us had a blast!
Speaking of dances, I also went to two of my school dances, and I can't wait until homecoming! I get to  go to two homecomings, because I will be going to my school's homecoming, and Great Oak's homecoming, where Cindy goes to school.
The most exciting thing yet, is my best friend Julia transferred to Temecula Valley, instead of going to Great Oak! I'm so sad Cindy can't transfer, but it's better than nothing!
Anyways, thank you guys for reading all this random stuff, but I haven't blogged in a while, and I thought I'd fill you in on my life!

Houseboat 2012!

Since fourth grade, Julia's family has been asking me to come with them on their annual house boating trip. I haven't been allowed because of age, but five years and one talk in sacrament later, I can go!

We took a two hour boat ride across the lake to get to these rapids. They were such a challenge and so much fun!

We invented Extreme Hillbilly Kayaking. So basically you tie a rope to the Kayak, and you get pulled really fast by the boat. As you can see, I was having some difficulties hanging on haha.

After we got the hang of Extreme Kayaking alone, all my besties climbed in, and we went together!

I miss everyone so much and I can't until the next houseboat trip! I couldn't have asked for a better week!

What a bored brother and sister do at night!

My best friend, Julia, decided to kidnap me from my house, and take me to the Del Mar Fair as a surprise, for my early birthday present. We totally wish Cindy could have come, but she is vacationing in Italy for a month! (lucky duck!). We hit up almost every ride, and had such a blast. We stayed there until closing, at 11pm, and were exhausted.

A crazy fun house! I've never been in one so I was stoked when I saw they had a big selection of creepy fun houses there.

On this crazy ride called "Pharaohs Revenge". You sit in a giant boat shaped like a banana, and you swing back and forth really, really high! It's a stomach dropper for sure!

About to enter the Gravity Room (also known as my favorite ride in the world). You go into a little room shape in a circle, and the walls are slightly slanted. For the beginning of the ride, you lean back onto the walls, while the room spins. When the room gets to a certain speed, you can actually defy gravity, and climb up the walls the rest in the corner of the ceiling. Julia and I went on three times, and started the trend of going upside down.

I am so grateful for my best friend, and for her generosity to pay for the whole entire thing (ride tokens, entry tickets, food, and pictures). I wish I could go back to the park right now!

Last Few Days at Temecula Middle School...

My last year of middle school has gone by so fast! I can't believe I'll be leaving my safe comfort zone, and entering the cold, hard world of high school. Hahaha. But I am SO excited! Here are some pictures, from my last few days at TMS.

This was awards night! My best friends (Julia and Cindy), also won awards! We are some smart cookies. After the awards, we went out to celebrate and get frozen yogurt!

This was the second to last day of school, with my friends Chloe, Brenda, and Anthony!

Nikki has been one of my closest friends, since kindergarten. We would never have even pictured ourselves still being friends, graduating next to each other! I can't wait to graduate high school with her, as well!

After promotion, I went into Jon's classroom to say goodbye. Some girl in his class thought I was his girlfriend, so we gladly went along with it...as well as all of Jon's friends.

Julia, Cindy, and I rented a room at Pat N Oscars, and held a graduation party! We invited a few friends, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and partied our little freshman hearts out!

Julia's mom bought us a cake, for the party, and in our favor, put the topping as "The Three Amigas"! (That's what Julia, Cindy, and I call each other as best friends!). Also, Cindy's amazing neighbors brought us some DELICIOUS cake pops! My newest obsession.

Cindy's mom insisted we headed over to the Redhawk waterfall and take the classic graduation pictures! Here are some of the outtakes.
